Malerie's First Band Concert

Tonight the family got together to go to Malerie's first beginning band concert.  She decided at the beginning of the school year to play the trumpet in the school band.  We went to Mt. Jordan and waited in anticipation...    

The band came onto the stage and we took pictures while they set up...

The band tuned... a little off at first but they pulled it together.

Mr. Cox announced the four songs they were to play and they played with gusto!  It was a very good concert for kids who have only been playing for six weeks.  After the show, we went down to meet Malerie and give her flowers.

Congratulations Malerie on your first big band concert!
